Updating device driver your video card
Once you have launched the NVIDIA display driver installation file, your first prompt will ask you for a location to save the NVIDIA driver files to.
These files are not used by the NVIDIA installer and only important if you intend to install the driver manually.
One you have selected which graphic components you wish to install, click "3) The installer will copy all selected graphic components to your computer.
After the installer has completed, you will see a window similar to the screenshot below. Once you are back in Windows, your installation has completed.
This may resolve installer issues caused by conflicting older drivers.
Older graphics cards may not show all of the components listed below.
If the options you are presented with do not match the screenshot below, it is ok.
5) You will next be prompted to accept the NVIDIA software license agreement.
Read the contents and then if you agree, click "AGREE AND CONTINUE" to proceed.
If there are no updates available or if the updates don't solve your problems, continue to the next section. Some possible search terms are the name of your computer manufacturer (such as Dell or HP) or generic terms like "update", "maintenance" or "driver". If there is no update tool, no updates available, or if the updates don't solve your problems, continue to the next section.
